A consistent routine we will have throughout the entire school year is the work we do with Wordly Wise. Wordly Wise gives students a chance to develop and master key vocabulary recognition and application skills through a variety of exercises. Students spend two weeks working on a lesson’s exercises, and take a lesson quiz at the end of that time period.

WEEK 1
- Exercise A (Finding Meanings): Introduce words and definitions on Monday.
- Exercise A is due on Wednesday.
- Exercise B (Just the Right Word) & Exercise C (Applying Meanings) are assigned on Wednesday.
- Exercises B & C are due on Friday.
- Exercise D (Word Study): Read the passage of Exercise E on Monday.
- Exercise D is due on Wednesday.
- Exercise E (Passage): Students have all week to work on Exercise E.
- Exercise E is due on Friday.
- Lesson Quiz takes place on Friday.
